Our Story
Napa-Sonoma Junior Accessory Dwelling Units was born from a passion for building, housing, and a love for nature. As an alumni from Humboldt State University and a former Housing Rehabilitation Program Supervisor for the Housing Authority of the City of Napa, I have seen the need for housing and for environmentally sustainable construction. A large part of demand for lumber and other materials comes from the construction industry. Junior Units use substantially less materials compared to new construction since they are built within an existing home.
A JADU from Napa-Sonoma Junior Accessory Dwelling Units allows for new affordable housing to be created while using less natural resources, generating less waste, and reducing urban sprawl.
